I will be doing my best to have a blog up and working along with that posting pictures regularly. I can see for the first few days of my 6 week journey in Poland (more specifically Lublin) that I will have much to say and to post about. I hope to keep the energy up and post and keep everyone updated with news and exciting-ness.
As for pre-departure. Due to my flight leaving at 6:00am on Saturday July 2nd and needing to be there a few hours early, as a good frequent flyer knows, and the fact that Seattle public transit is less than satisfactory on many things, so the buses do not run when I would need to leave to make it there to the airport. I have booked a hotel room in Tacoma (right across from the airport) which means I will be staying the night there before flying out early in the morning.
I will have 2 layovers on my journey over to Poland. The first being a 2.5 hour layover in Chicago then a 2 hour layover in Frankfurt (Germany). I will (should that is) arrive in Warsaw Sunday July 3rd in the morning about 9:30am (local time).
The program is a 6 week intensive language program (Polish, of course!). I will be there from July 3rd to the 13th of August. I am looking forward to cementing Polish in my head and maybe then I will quite switching over to Russian without realizing it! :D
